Pet Open Knot Comb Stainless Steel 16x12cm for Dogs and Pets

This pet open knot comb is a grooming tool for dogs and other pets, intended to help remove knots and tangles from the coat. It measures 16x12cm and is made from stainless steel, with a choice of blue or pink. The comb is described as an open knot comb, a type of grooming comb used to work through matted or tangled fur. It is suitable for dogs and pets, making it a practical item for routine grooming at home. Because the source text does not list tooth spacing, handle material, or whether the comb has one or two rows of teeth, those details are left unstated rather than guessed. What is confirmed is the material, the size, the colours, and the stated purpose of removing knots and tangles.

Features and Construction

The comb is built around a stainless steel body and a stated size of 16x12cm. These two facts are the main construction details available. Stainless steel is a common choice for grooming tools because it does not absorb moisture and can be wiped down after use. The open knot comb format is intended for working through tangles, which is useful when a standard brush glides over the top of a knot instead of separating it. The comb comes in blue or pink, so the colour can be chosen to suit preference or to match other pet accessories.

Material and Build

The stated material is stainless steel. This matters for a grooming comb because fur and skin contact means the tool will need regular cleaning. Stainless steel can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried, which is a simple routine between grooming sessions. The source text does not give a coating, handle material, or tooth count, so no claims are made about anti-slip grips, rotating teeth, or self-cleaning mechanisms. The comb is simply a stainless steel open knot comb in the stated size. That is enough for a straightforward grooming tool that can be kept clean and stored without special treatment.

Size and Practical Fit

The comb measures 16x12cm. That is a compact size for a handheld grooming tool, small enough to be controlled during use and easy to store in a drawer or grooming kit. The 16cm and 12cm measurements give a clear idea of the comb's overall footprint, though the source does not specify which measurement is length and which is width. For pet owners, the size suggests it is intended for close work on dogs and other pets rather than for large-scale grooming. The comb is available in blue or pink, giving two colour options within the same stated size and material.

Uses and Placement

This comb is intended for grooming dogs and pets. Its stated job is to remove knots and tangles, which makes it relevant for regular coat maintenance, especially when fur becomes matted behind the ears, under the legs, or along the tail. The compact size and stainless steel material suit both quick tidy-ups and more careful work through problem areas. It can be kept with other pet grooming supplies and used as part of a normal brushing routine. The source text does not specify breed suitability, coat type, or whether it is best for long or short fur, so those distinctions are not assumed here.

Event or Professional Use

For professional or event-related grooming, a stainless steel comb in a 16x12cm size can be a useful addition to a kit. The open knot comb design is aimed at separating knots and tangles rather than just smoothing the surface, which is relevant when preparing a dog for a show, a vet visit, or a grooming appointment. The blue or pink colour options allow the comb to be identified easily among other tools. The source text does not make claims about professional-grade performance or show-standard results, so the comb is presented only as a tool for removing knots and tangles from dogs and pets.

Everyday Home Use

At home, this comb fits into a regular pet care routine. It can be used when brushing a dog and encountering tangles that a standard brush does not clear. The 16x12cm size is manageable for one-handed use, and the stainless steel material can be wiped after each session. It is suitable for dogs and pets, so it can be used across more than one animal in a household if needed. The source text does not confirm whether the comb is safe for very small pets or sensitive skin, so gentle use is advised. No additional grooming products are included or required by the source information.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main value of this comb is its stated purpose: removing knots and tangles from dogs and pets. The stainless steel material supports simple cleaning, and the 16x12cm size makes it easy to handle and store. The choice of blue or pink adds a small practical benefit because the comb can be matched to a preference or identified at a glance. Since the source does not list price, pack quantity, or warranty, the value is described only in terms of the confirmed material, size, colour, and use case.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

Stainless steel can be reused many times and does not need special cleaning products. A damp cloth and a dry wipe are enough to remove loose fur and debris after grooming. The comb should be dried before storage to help keep the metal in good condition. The source text does not provide detailed care instructions, so this guidance is based only on the stated material. There are no disposable parts mentioned, and no replacement heads or refills are listed. The comb is a single reusable tool in the stated size and colour options.

Why Choose This Product

This comb is a straightforward choice for pet owners who need a tool specifically described as an open knot comb for removing knots and tangles. It is made from stainless steel, measures 16x12cm, and is suitable for dogs and pets. It comes in blue or pink. The source text does not claim it is better than other combs, so no comparison is made. Instead, the buying decision rests on the confirmed details: the material, the size, the two colour choices, and the stated grooming purpose. For anyone seeking a compact stainless steel comb for tangled pet fur, this product matches those search terms directly.
